Alice in Wonderland, Paquita, Studio to Stage, and guest artist Alison Cook Beatty Dance
Join us for our Spring 2017 performance at the Palace Theatre on Friday, May 26th!
Join Alice as she follows the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole where things get curiouser and curiouser. In Wonderland, Alice encounters the Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts and many strange creatures including the Cheshire Cat, Caterpillar and Dormouse.
Paquita is the first of the famous classical ballets choreographer Marius Petipa created in 1847, and Studio to Stage showcases our young students' classwork.
Guest Artist Alison Cook Beatty Dance will perform TINTINNABULI, which premiered at the Joyce Theater in 2012, commissioned by Ballet Next. An excerpt for two dancers will be performed by Carolina Rivera and Artistic Director Alison Cook-Beatty with music by Arvo Pärt, Tabula Rasa. Alison Cook Beatty Dance is based in New York City and is celebrating its fifth year.

American Experience Concert

with Stamford Symphony

Our students will perform alongside the Stamford Symphony at the Palace Theater on March 19th

Enchanted Forest

Benefiting the Junior League of Greenwich, our students will perform at the Greenwich Hyatt at 2:45pm. New choreography with music from Duke Ellington's Nutcracker Suite.


Sunday, January 18th at the Palace Theater, featuring dancers from schools all around the tri-state area

Young Choreographer's Festival

Sunday, November 9th at the Palace Theater at 5pm. Featuring student choreography by young dance-makers from schools around the Tri-State Area and a new piece made on BSS students by faculty member Lauren Etter.


Our students will be performing at the second annual ARTWALK in Stamford Downtown June 27th and 28th.

Gwendolyn, the Graceful Pig

We have taken this fun ballet to both the North Street School and Hamilton Avenue School in Greenwich. It is a wonderful performance based on the book of the same name written by David Rottenberg who reads while our students dance. Interested schools should contact use to schedule a performance.
